Information security

Certain information has to be protected with regard to national security. This type of protection is known as information security and comprises the protection of classified documents on paper and in technical systems, such as computers. Classified data may appear in public documents or in internal working material; it may be written on paper or IT-based, but must be protected, regardless of format.
