The new website of the Swedish Security Service was launched on Monday 26 March. The updated version of this website aims to be more informative, user-friendly and accessible. To this end, the website has a new technical platform, a new design and a new content.
The information on the Swedish Security Service´s five areas of activity has been expanded and the areas are also emphasized when navigating the site. In addition to this, the scope of our website has been broadened so as to enable us to provide more detailed information on the different areas in which we engage, such as informing about threat assessments and presenting information on the crime prevention work carried out by our Service.
In this updated version of our website, the information on the Security Service and its activities has been further developed to include some information on the organisation, its history and assignment as well as our contact details. The website also has two new services - a press room and a function whereby information may be submitted to the Security Service online. The space allocated for the publication of news on the website has also increased.
Most of this website contains information in Swedish and English. Complementary to this information is some general information about the Security Service and about this website, translated into in Sweden´s minority languages and the most common immigrant languages.
